03/04/2015Dans la nuit du 30 au 31 mars, le dossier sur la proposition de loi concernant l’abolition du système prostitutionnel a été réouvert par le Sénat. Des discussions houleuses sont maintenant ouvertes depuis des années et c’est notamment la pénalisation des clients de la prostitution qui fait débat. Le Sénat a ainsi supprimé l’amendement concernant la pénalisation des clients et réintroduit celui interdisant le racolage passif, sanctionnant ainsi les personnes prostituées seulement.
Et c’est le collectif féministe Osez le féminisme qui s’est insurgé de ces décisions jugeant ces décisions machistes et se rangeant toujours du côté des hommes, des clients. Où est la lutte contre l’exploitation sexuelle ou celle contre la violence subie par les prostituées ?
« Sanctionner les victimes, protéger les responsables »,
c’est ainsi qu’a réagi le collectif !
Mais le débat va bien plus loin. C’est l’inégalité hommes-femmes qui est montrée du doigt. Alors que l’Irlande du Nord, la Suède ou encore la Norvège ont voté en faveur de la pénalisation des clients de la prostitution, la France en est bien loin.. En 2011, un texte suggérant de sanctionner les clients en leur infligeant une amende de 1 500€ avait été validé par l’Assemblée, il avait ensuite été retiré par le Sénat.
