La fish pedicure ! Ca fait des années que je veux tester ce concept !
Les instituts de beauté proposent de plus en plus ce soin et il me fait de l’œil depuis un moment. Mais alors la fish pedicure, c’est quoi ?
Souvent associé à un soin des pieds de type pedicure, pose de vernis,…ce soin consiste à plonger ses pieds dans un bac rempli d’eau et de petits poissons, chargés de s’occuper de nos peaux mortes en les dévorant. Rien de plus simple, vous avez juste à attendre qu’ils fassent leur boulot.

J’ai profité de l’ouverture d’un centre Aqua Fish Spa non loin de chez moi pour enfin tester ce concept. J’ai pris la formule simple avec 30 minutes de soin (boisson comprise, s’il vous plaît). J’étais heureuse de découvrir un endroit très cocooning et décoré avec soin. Je m’y suis tout de suite sentie très à l’aise. Allez hop, ni une, ni deux, j’ai enfilé des tongs et je suis passée au bac. Oui, la gérante prend soin de nettoyer à l’eau claire chaque pied de ses clients avant le soin pour une meilleure hygiène.
Une fois les pieds lavés, il était l’heure d’y aller. J’ai eu un peu d’appréhension avant de plonger mes petits pieds dans l’eau, oui, j’avais peur de me faire dévorer toute crue. Ouf, il n’en fut rien. La sensation est assez spéciale au début, ça fait comme des petites pressions vibrantes mais on s’y habitue assez vite et ça devient agréable assez rapidement.
Le temps de regarder ce qu’il se passe, de papoter un peu et de se détendre et voilà, le soin est terminé. J’avais hâte de voir ce que ça rendait. Une fois mes pieds séchés, j’ai pu découvrir qu’ils étaient devenus beaucoup plus doux et lisses. Toutes mes peaux mortes ne sont pas parties mais ils avaient clairement fait du bon boulot !
Alors que ce soin est pas mal critiqué ces derniers temps, les médecins remettant en cause le manque d’hygiène associé au changement d’eau qui ne peut pas être fait trop fréquemment, j’ai eu le plaisir de constater que la gérante du spa où j’ai testé ce soin fait très attention à ce côté hygiénique qui est primordial selon elle. En effet, lorsqu’elle rince les pieds de chacun, elle prend soin de bien regarder s’il n’y a pas une plaie ou autre qui pourrait s’infecter ou infecter l’eau. Ensuite, les poissons se reposent 30 minutes entre chaque soin, une étape importante que la gérante du spa respecte bien pour un soin optimal pour les clientes et une meilleure santé côté poissons. Top !
Apparemment, il faudrait en faire 2 fois par mois pour un bon traitement des peaux mortes sur les pieds. Je vais essayer d’en faire plus souvent et je vous en dirai des nouvelles.
